Honestly, when I first heard about Ceesau I wasn't sure if they were actually going to be as good as my friend said they were. And well Ceesau ended up blaring on my Ipod just as much as Jimi Hendrix and other goods like The Pixies. Loved it and waiting for some new tunes.

I really enjoyed this album. Much more than I thought I would. The music is amazing! The lyrics are heartfelt. Tear to Spare is my favorite, with Wrote The Longest Word coming in a close second. I am really looking forward to new material.

I absolutely love this CD! I'm so happy that I bought it. I never would of heard of Ceesau if it wasn't for Carmine. I love him in CSI: NY so to hear that he is also in a band is awesome. The guys in the band are extremely talented & it shows in this CD. I can't wait to hear more music from them.

I love this cd the music and lyrics are so great I find myself just getting lost in them. They do get stuck in your head so you will take them with you. I think I need to buy another before I wear this one out.

It's excellent! Guitar is perfect, dram is brilliant, especially the vocal is amazing! How can I describe for his voice? I really don't know. But it is regrettable that there is no text about the lyrics. Because I am foreigner so sometimes I cannot catch the lyric. Would you please enclose that next time?

LOVE this CD

...well the digital download. The music is a pure masterpiece and has been playing non stop since being purchased. I do agree with Christina about at times the vocals getting lost amongst the band but over all worth ever cent!!

I got this CD as a gift from a friend, she was really into it and I can see why. There is a definite point of view to each song, so they don't sound like carbon copies of each other. This CD has been in the Cd player in my car since it came in the mail, and everytime someone gets in my car they ask me who it is and then where they can get the CD. If there is a negative I think the vocals could use a little strength, seems to be competing with the band at times, but having said that Sunshine is a beautiful song and I'm happy to have discovered Ceesau

There are no words which with descibe just how awsome these guys are. Its one of those albums which grows on you. It is impossible to pick just one as a favourite - there might only be five tracks but there is something to suit every mood. I simply can't wait for the release of another album! I love "Wrote the Longest Word Today" the best of all the songs on the album. Very upbeat and extremely well done. It is refreshing for each song to have a unique sound all its own and not be a Xerox of the one before. Definitely worth the short wait to receive in the mail. I'm anxious for more music from this highly promising new group, ceesau!

Quite Impressed!

Hands down, my favorite song is Sunshine (but followed VERY closely by Wrote The Longest Word). It is bluesy and gritty and grungey and dirty. Certain parts of Carmine's guitar solo is very reminiscent of Ted Nugent in my opinion. Kind of a wandering and organic guitar medley that just takes on a life of it's own, a la Stranglehold. You can hear a wide variety of influences in this album-everything from The Cure to early Nirvana and more. In my opinion, each song sounds influenced by a different genre, but you cans certainly tell they are all from the same group of musicians. It is a rare treat to find such versatility in music today.

the music is amazing. i have to loop it on my mp3 because it is only 5 songs but they are worth it. i would highly recommend this CD to everyone. plus i checked out the band's website and loved that they support charities (esp. animal shelters - how can't you love people that rescue animals?) buy the CD, support the philosophy.

Interesting!!

It has to be said that I had certain expectations with this CD..1) would be longer and 2) more risks taken with the music! I can't say I don't like it as I do very much so, I think that allot of hard work went into it and wouldn't take that away from it at all. I think that the band should have not drawn so much from the early 90's (and yeah thats your thing and thats what you're into...and probably shaking your head at me but I wouldn't be honest if I didn't say it) I think that there should have been more of a wide spread...Oh how in the hell do you say this? More influence from somewhere else...something more eklectic(can't spell) with the sound, as I'm sure that you all don't just listen to one form of music?! I am certain that you could have drawn more on the others things inside yourselves with the music! I feel that Wrote The Longest Word is strongest song on the album and I feel you went a bit further with this song! But I will say that I couldn't have done this if I tried..lol...and I do think its a good first album. Good Luck with the future in whatever you do....Take Care xXx (Ninjas they're everywhere!)

I have to say 4 stars.....five would almost exclusively be reserved for a full album from these guys..This shows such promise.......I have listened to a lot of music in my 41 years and am still heartened by refreshing bands such as these guys.....I just hope they continue and keep the music coming...

Great EP!

This CD is like a small rough diamond to me. Every song bring in its own cut to create a real brilliant. The drums are the driving force. The guitar-playing is very good and the Bass Guitar makes a perfect match. Also the partly reserved singing with its powerful eruptions makes me want to hear more!

Highly Recommended

One thing is clear, the songs will accompany me on my US-Tour in two weeks. Can`t get enough. Would be great to meet them in concert, Live-Performance, etc..in Germany. Wish them a lot of success.

Damn good EP. Sunshine is my favorite, mostly for the guitar riff right at the beginning. Love the haunting sound of the guitar throughout that song. Can't wait to see these guys live!

Love this EP!

Though I'm not so familiar with Rock music, but I like this EP. The 1st song I got to listen is "How Do You Fee" from the Myspace, and I like it immediately. A very impressive song. Then when I finally got the EP, basically I love all 5 tracks. Besides "How Do You Feel", I mostly like the 3rd track "Wrote The Longest Word", like the medium tampo, and to tell u the truth, when I listen to this song, it made me to remember some scenes from CSINY, actually it's quite fit to be the BGM/ending song of the show :P
